Product Details

Purchase a tote bag featuring the photograph "Trumpets" by Michaela Perryman.   Our tote bags are made from soft, durable, poly-poplin fabric and include a 1" black strap for easy carrying on your shoulder.   All seams are double-stitched for added durability.   Each tote bag is machine-washable in cold water and is printed on both sides using the same image.

Artist's Description

Church Organ in St Patricks – Melbourne, Victoria, Australia

The cathedral was designed in the Gothic style of early Fourteenth Century, based on the great medieval cathedrals of England, a style at the height of its popularity in the mid 19th century. The nave exhibits ‘curvilinear traceries’ in the principal windows of circa 1300 to 1350s; the transepts have traceries in Geometric Decorated, a style of the immediately previous thirty years in England. The eastern arm with its chevet of chapels in the French manner is still principally in the English late Thirteenth Century style. The cathedral’s original pipe organ was built in the late 1870s by Robert Mackenzie and completed in 1880 by George Fincham. The current installation built by George Fincham & Sons, Melbourne in 1962-64 and incorporates a substantial part of the original. Installed in the west gallery of the cathedral, it comprises 81 speaking stops spread over four manuals and pedals. Some of the stops can...

Photography interests are wide covering most subjects apart from people. Particularly of interest are macro images and wildflowers of which Western Australia has a great many unique species. Over the past few years, I have held exhibitions of framed prints of wildflowers and been featured in local newspapers. I live in the beautiful South West of Western Australia, having emigrated from England many years ago.
